Rotordynamic Analyses of Coupled Systems

Sometimes standard rotordynamic models do not suffice to describe certain phenomena and it may be necessary to consider more sophisticated models, which take into account coupling effects such as

  • coupling of lateral, torsional and axial vibrations in systems with gears,
  • coupling of rotor and blade vibrations,
  • coupling of rotor and disk vibrations,
  • coupling of rotor and casing vibrations.
